FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - ANSWERS GUESTS NEED TO KNOW...
- Reservations
Reservations need to be made a minimum of 3 days in advance of travel. - Weekend reception
Weekend reception cover only by prior arrangement. - Breakfast
Breakfast served at 8.00am (unless alternative time agreed by housekeeper prior to travel) - Evening dinner
Evening dinner served at 6.00pm (subject to availability and must be prior booked). - Set menus
Set menus provided (unless specific dietary requests are made in advance). - Hostel access
No access to the hostel between 11am-4pm daily. - Vacating rooms
Guests must vacate their rooms, hand-in keys and leave by 10am on morning of departure. - Alcohol
No Alcohol sold on premises. - Cots
No cots available. - Smoking
Strictly no smoking on the premises. - Bed linen
All bed linen provided and no bed-making required. Please ask Warden for extra blankets if needed. - Towels
Please remember to bring your own towels – otherwise a laundry charge of 50p per towel will be made. - Acceptance of bookings
Mulberry House / Ty’r Morwydd reserve the right not to accept any bookings. - Guest behaviour
Mulberry House / Ty’r Morwydd reserve the right to remove guests from the premises who do not act in accordance with the organisational Terms and Conditions, who are unruly, act in a suspicious manner or behave in such a way as to disturb or upset other guests and members of staff. - Cancellations
Cancellations will be subject to a charge. - Short notice cancellations
All short notice cancellations will be subject to the full fee. - Terms and Conditions
All guests are expected to have read and understood our Terms and Conditions (they apply equally to Mulberry House and Ty’r Morwydd customers) and our web site notices. - Payment
Payment should be made in advance of travel by bankers’ cheque, credit or debit card. Contact us for details.

Those interested in staying at Mulberry House Hostel and wishing to enquire about rates or availability should contact us on 01873 855959 Monday to Friday, or email mulberryhousercc@aol.com. If you are in a rush to book, please check online availability at www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/wales/hostels/abergavenny where you will also have the opportunity to make reservations and secure online payments through our partners, the YHA.
DISABILITY ACCESS
We currently offer part mobility access. Disabled access is available to ground floor and conference facilities. There are no lifts to accommodation floors. If members of your group specifically require disabled access accommodation, we are situated near The Hill Education & Conference Centre who offer full disabled access and lifts.
