CASUAL GEOGRAPHY TEACHER
We are currently seeking a Geography Tutor to work for the centre on an as needed basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good degree in Geography or a related discipline. A postgraduate teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential
- Experience in teaching geography/ecology at a field Centre, or at upper secondary/tertiary level
- The ability to rapidly establish good working relationships with Centre staff, visiting staff and students, and to work as part of a team
- A high standard of verbal and visual presentation skills
- Computer literacy
- Enthusiasm, versatility and physical fitness
- An appropriate first-aid qualification
- A full U.K. driving licence (experience of driving children in minibuses is desirable, but not essential)

Mulberry House is an educational charity with a highly respected record for providing field study visits to schools and groups for over 30 years.
Based at the Old Convent, Pen-y-Pound, the Trust is at an exciting time in its development, working on a new vision and Business Plan that will see it strengthen its educational role, improve its facilities, develop new partnerships and alternative income streams and become a focal point for community activities in Abergavenny. We are looking for new Trustees with energy and commitment to help shape and deliver our new Business Plan.
